QUOTES
Brian: "Selfish is a crazy word in the way that we use it because if we are not selfish, then what are we? Can we function in the perpetual state of always thinking about other people without having some regard to the self?"
Brian: "At what point does selfishness become bad? I think the distinguishing factor is some of the other words, right. I think if you become self-absorbed, that's a problem. I think if you become egotistical, I think that's a problem. I think if you become self-obsessed, that's a problem. But selfish, I think that's just a natural state of things."
Kris: "It's okay to be selfish but like Brian said earlier, selfishness is not necessarily the right word. It's how you were taught. Everybody as children you're taught that selfishness is a bad word. Right? It's a bad word, you don't need to be selfish, You always need to be looking out for the other person. But you can't help the other person unless you help you."
Kris: "On your journey of success, successors, you can be selfish to yourself. Meaning, understand what you need to do that's gonna make you perform and become your best self. It becomes bad when selfishness evolves into being self-centered, egotistical, conniving, self-absorbed."
