This episode of the Success Fundamentals Podcast features Darron "Don Pablo" Burke, Owner of Burke Brands LLC and creator of Don Pablo Coffee. Coffee is such a central part of many people's lives that creating a standout brand was not easy.
Against gargantuan competition and with faith in the Lord backing him up, Darron decided to dive headfirst into the coffee business after experiencing what truly fresh and satisfying coffee really is in Columbia. Decades after, he has created a brand with a 70% retention rate and continues to innovate to provide customers an experience that is unique to Don Pablo.
As a business, Darron's philosophy is that the more you give, the more you get back. This people-first outlook produces one of the top-selling coffees on Amazon with a business ethic grounded on God and the people that built his company from the ground up.

17:42 "I found out really early that you want to be authentic and you want to be honest and you want to sort of help people get what they want. So I learned that early and I learned that through the magazine selling experience early on."
23:48 "If you have faith in your ability, if you have faith in God, not a lot of people arrive at that point, but you have a business and you're about to fail and you're about to lose everything and you're in a hole, when people are in a hole, they look up, right?"
26:49 "I also found that it works not just with money, but everything else. With time. The more time you give, the more patience, the more gratitude, all these things, the more you give, the more you get back. And the more you get back, you can give more."
39:28 "I'll use a pour over... That gives you a lot of flavor, a lot of body and a lot of flavor. But again, you got to get the water temperature just right. That magic number is about 195 degrees Fahrenheit."
49:54 "If you have an interest in a certain type of business or product or whatever it is and that interest is not going to go away in a day or two, just jump into it. And then it might morph two or three times from what you originally thought, but just get into it."
