Healthy Eating Tips

I don’t like to consider an eating plan as a diet. In fact I try to not even use the word diet. You have to look at your eating plan as more or a way of life. To me a diet implies something that you do for a period of time until you lose the desired amount of weight, and then you end the diet. Then what usually happens? You gain the weight back and then some. I try and keep it as simple as possible. Try and eat more of the good stuff, stay away from the bad stuff and eat in moderation. Here are some guidelines that I use.
Change you mindset
- The food you eat is for fuel and not just for pleasure
Eat only until you are satisfied
- You don’t have to eat until you are “stuffed” or “full”
- Eat just until you are no longer hungry
