Stop making excuses
I remember like it was yesterday. I was running line drills at basketball practice and I was just being lazy. I hated line drills. You would start at the baseline at one end of the court, run to the free throw line, bend down and touch it and then run back to the baseline. Then you would run to half court, touch it, and then back where you came from. Again to the far free throw line. Then all the way down to the other baseline and back. I think I was in last place right from the start. My coach yelled at me and told me I would have to run more if I was the last one to finish. I yelled back at him “MY KNEE HURTS!” Which was a lie and he knew it. So he uttered back these famous words: Read the rest of this entry
